Event Assistant/Assistant Manager
Blue Barn is accepting applications from highly organized candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the position for Assistant. Event assistants are responsible for working under the instructions of an Event Director, assisting with all operations during events, including: event setup, organizing inventory, layout designs, and various administrative tasks to ensure a successful event.
We pride ourselves on making sure every guest has one of the best experiences of their life at a Blue Barn Event! Every single member of our team is constantly on their feet to attend to the needs of our guests. This position requires physical stamina, high energy levels, a great attitude and a fun spirit! Event Assistant Responsibilities:

Moving furniture including tables and chairs.

Working under the instructions of an Event Director.

Ensuring the event hall is clean and organized.
-
Adhering to event safety standards.
-
Ensuring excellent levels of customer service.
-
Undertaking security duties.
-
Setting up catering displays or arranging tables settings.
-
Assist with bartender needs if arise (if age appropriate)
-
Dispensing useful information to event-goers.
-
Cleaning and breaking down furniture when the event is completed.
