School & Group Tours

 

Looking for a great field trip that is both educational and FUN? Bring your group to learn about the inner workings of a berry farm, including bee hives for making honey and a live chicken coop!

 

A Blue Barn Berry Farm field trip is perfect for preschool, elementary school children and community groups of all ages. All of our tours feature participative educational programs about running a farm and the important roles the berries, bees and chickens play.

We offer 2 fantastic Tour Packages:

 

1. Walking Tour, Learning Simulations and Games -

• Guided Walking Tour of the Farm

• “Be the Bee!” – An interactive race between teams to see who can build the fastest beehive! It’s an engaging and exciting way to learn how bees work and the amazing things they can do!

• Visit chicken coop to gather eggs (when available) and feed chickens

• “Chicken Scratch” - Children get to imitate the chicken as they dig for worms and bugs

• Access to activities in our Kids Farm Fun Area (as time allows)

2. Walking Tour package + Vanilla Ice cream cone or snack -

• All of the above PLUS:

• One vanilla ice cream cone per participant (or customized snack)
